We are a Rotterdam based art collective, with artists with and without the right residency papers and we have a mission to humanize humanity with our art and actions. We know art has a power to heal and to liberate, empower and transform at an individual and collective level.
We zijn een Rotterdams kunstenaarscollectief, met kunstenaars met en zonder de juiste verblijfspapieren dat zich inzet voor een menswaardig bestaan voor iedereen ongeacht je verblijfsstatus. Kunst is onze taal en heeft de kracht om te helen, te bevrijden en te transformeren op individueel en collectief niveau.
Shadow liberation theater
Our art is made during our weekly sessions where we perform shadow liberation theatre; an art of storytelling, artivism and healing at the same time. We use our art to share stories about the reality of living in society without the right residency papers and to influence the narratives around it. With our work we are fighting for social justice for all, regardless of your status.
Onze kunst is gemaakt tijdens onze wekelijkse ateliersessies waar we met schaduwtheater werken: een eeuwenoude kunstvorm om te vertellen over leven en overleven. Met deze kunst gaan we op pad, niet alleen omdat het prachtige kunst oplevert, maar vooral omdat we een gehoor zoeken voor de verborgen realiteit van leven zonder de juiste verblijfspapieren. Samen strijden we voor een menswaardig bestaan voor iedereen, ongeacht je verblijfstatus.
